JVC- 1

Press DISPLAY anVC-
Press DISPLAY and VIDEO STATUS on the remote control simultaneously to enter the SERVICE MENU
Press MENU UP/DOWN to select an item (including other menus)
Press MENU LEFT/RIGHT to adjust
Press EXIT to return to a previous menu. Press again to EXIT

JVC-2

Press SLEEP TIMER and set the SLEEP TIMER for "0" MIN.
Press DISPLAY and VIDEO STATUS at the same time (while
The SLEEP TIMER information is still on screen) to enter the SERVICE MENU
Press MENU UP/DOWN to select an item (including other menus)
Press MENU LEFT/RIGHT to adjust
Press EXIT to return to a previous menu. Press again to EXIT

JVC sets from 1995:
Set the clock to 3:21 AM.
Start the clock as you normally would but press MUTE while "Thank you" is flashing.
Press MENU up or down just after MUTE.
Use UP/ DOWN to select options and LEFT/ RIGHT to adjust. The settings are automatically saved when you exit.

-Press the {MENU} button and go to the User Menu screen, make sure
that the indicator (arrow) is pointed and highlights the "Picture Control".

- The buttons on top of the remote are set to TV & VCR respectively.

- Set sleep timer to "0" minutes and while it is displayed, simultaneously
press the {VIDEO STATUS} & {DISPLAY} buttons.

- The main service menu will be displayed with choices #1 through #9.
- Press one of the corresponding number keys to enter that menu.

- Use the {CH+} {CH-} buttons to navigate within a menu.
- Use the {VOL+} {VOL-} buttons to change the values.
- Use the {MUTING} button to memorize the changed value.
- Use the {BACK} button to exit the service menu.

JVC-5

Turn the TV on.
Using the remote control:

- Press the {INFO} & {MUTE} buttons at the same time.
- The Service Menu will be displayed

- Use the number keys to select the category.
- Use the {VOL+} {VOL-} buttons to enter the category.
NOTE: Some models don't have category selection.
- Use the {CH+} {CH-) buttons to select item to be adjusted.
- Use the {VOL+} {VOL-} buttons to change values.
- Press the {INFORMATION} button to exit.

Turn the TV on.
Using the remote control:

# Press {DISPLAY} & {PIC MODE} buttons at the same time.
# The Service Menu will be displayed

# Use the number keys to select the category.
# Use the {UP} {DOWN} buttons to enter a category.
# Use the {LEFT} {RIGHT} buttons to select items.
# Use the {UP} {DOWN} buttons to change values.
# Press the {DISPLAY} button twice to exit.

# Press the {MENU} button.
# Select "Clock Set".
# Set clock to 3:21 AM and press "Start Clock".
# While a "Thank You" message is displayed on screen, press the {MUTE} and {MENU} buttons.
# The Service Menu will come up.
# Use {UP} {DOWN} to select items.
# Use {LEFT} {RIGHT} to change values.
# To exit, turn the TV Off.

JVC AV 28 WFT TV MODE SERVICE
For any one do not forgot to write the TV settings down before changing the setting to comensate the RGB picture shift.
For use under DEF Menu, to access service mode press i and mute together.
Settings from three different sets, in various stores so I know the service setting haven't been messed with. To obtain default settings simply use an average of the values below (or try each set), most of settings are similar to with +/- 1 across the three different tv sets.

With the linked television, press DISPLAY and VÍDEO STATUS simultaneously in the remote control.
For to select the item uses MENU UP / DOWN, to change the values uses MENU LEFT / RIGHT and to leave press EXIT

JVC Model: 2184A
In the remote control it introduces the following sequence: MENU, MENU, MENU, 1.
the hour in 3:21, press STD, VSM and DISPLAY simultaneously.

JVC Model: AV2186 / AV2196
In the remote control, to follow the following sequence quickly: MENU, to adjust the clock for 3:21, to press MUTE and the keys with arrow to arise and to go down. With 1, 2 and 3 select the several sub-menus and to leave press MUTE.
