To Factory Mode:
Step 1 : Select the source "PC" and then turn off LCD-TV.
Step 2 : [Push "power " button and then push the "VOL- " and "VOL+" buttons at the same time immediately and hold it] about five seconds then release all buttons.
Press "menu"button and bring up factory mode indication

Philips Y6 CTV service mode

Use the standard remote control an key in a special sequence 0 6 2 5 9 6 followed by pressing the 'MENU' button. If the main menu also appears with the service menu just press 'MENU' again to clear it.

Philips VR220 service mode

Reset to factory settings Disconect from the mains power supply. Press and hold the STANDBY/ON button on the device and reconnect to the mains power supply.Release the button when 'OSD' appears in the VCR display
